Dr. Christof Bollmann specializes in orthopedic surgery and trauma, with particular expertise in hand surgery.
Dr. Christof Bollmann
Dr. Bollmann attended school in Fribourg, as well as the beginning of his medical studies, then took his final exam in Bern. He then did his first specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the CHUV in Lausanne, Yverdon, and Fribourg. Very quickly, he found his passion for Hand Surgery and continued to train in this specialty. Initially at the Longeraie Clinic in Lausanne and completed in Geneva at the HUG. He was Chief Physician at the Longeraie Outpatient Department before perfecting his specialty in Brisbane, Australia. Back in Switzerland, he was a senior physician at the CHUV Hand Center, then a certified physician. He subsequently took over Professor Egloff's practice. The Longeraie Clinic offices moved to Avenue d'Ouchy in 2016 with the Bois-Cerf and Cecil Clinics as their main partners. Within the group's practice, Dr. Bollmann is primarily a reference for wrist pathologies, arthroscopy, prosthetics, and hand trauma. He also works with the Balgrist University Clinic in Zurich for osteotomies with custom-made 3D guides. Dr. Bollmann also specializes in ultrasound imaging, as well as ultrasound-guided infiltrations.
