Experience

Dr. Alexandru Daniel Tiris completed his medical studies in Romania, where he obtained his medical degree in 2011. He began his specialization in orthopedics in Romania and France.

In 2017, Dr. Tiris decided to settle in Switzerland and practiced as an assistant physician in orthopedics and traumatology in various hospitals in French-speaking Switzerland. He completed 2 years of training at the Pourtalès Hospital in Neuchâtel where he deepened his knowledge of lower limb surgery as well as spinal surgery.

Dr. Tiris then completed a year and a half as an assistant at the Établissements Hospitaliers du Nord Vaudois (eHnv) at the St-Loup Hospital, where he was particularly interested in prosthetic and arthroscopic shoulder surgery. He then continued his training at the Broye Intercantonal Hospital (HIB).

Passionate about orthopedics and with the aim of deepening his clinical and surgical skills, Dr. Tiris joined Medicol in January 2024, in order to continue his specialization at the Ouchy Orthopedic Center.
