FMH POSTGRADUATE TRAINING POSITIONS IN ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY AND TRAUMATOLOGY OF THE MUSCOLOSKELETAL SYSTEM

Medicol is an organization that brings together more than 30 doctors specializing in musculoskeletal disorders in order to promote the training of health professionals, network their skills and thus improve the medical care of patients.

The Clinique Bois-Cerf is specialized in orthopaedics and is part of Hirslanden, the leading private hospital group and the largest medical network in Switzerland.

The Centre Orthopédique d’Ouchy created in 2018 within the partnership between Medicol and the Clinique Bois-Cerf is recognized for FMH postgraduate training in orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system (category-C).

The Centre Orthopédique d’Ouchy, supervised by Medicol’s training surgeons, is offering two training positions:

RESIDENT AND DEPUTY CHIEF RESIDENT

Conditions

  • Be a holder of a federal medical diploma or a diploma recognized by MEBEKO.
  • Have completed at least two years of postgraduate training in orthopaedic surgery.
  • Have a good command of French (certified level) and knowledge of English.
  • Swiss or EU/EFTA nationality or valid Swiss residence permit.

Activities

  • Consultations and surgical management of patients.
  • Participate in the care and follow-up of hospitalized patients.
  • Participate in clinical and scientific studies.

Skills

  • Open and dynamic personality with the ability to integrate into a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
  • Surgical skills.
  • Good knowledge of IT tools and ease in the administrative management of patients.
