Dr. Cristian Ciobotaru
General orthopedics
Dr. Cristian Ciobotaru studied medicine in Romania, where he obtained his degree in 2019. He then moved towards a specialization in orthopedic surgery and traumatology, quickly developing a marked interest in the management of degenerative pathologies of the knee and hip, which today constitute his main area of expertise.
He began his specialized training at the Clinical Hospital of Orthopedics and Traumatology in Bucharest, where he acquired solid experience in trauma surgery and osteoarticular pathologies.
Eager to enrich his international experience, Dr. Ciobotaru continued his training in France, notably at the Roanne Hospital Centre, then at the Hôpitaux du Léman in Thonon-les-Bains.
Driven by a desire for improvement and specialization, Dr. Ciobotaru joined the Ouchy Orthopedic Center in May 2026, where he practiced with a particular interest in knee and hip surgery.
