FMH TRAINING POSITION FOR SPECIALISTS IN GENERAL INTERNAL MEDICINE (SECONDARY TRAINING IN ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY AND TRAUMATOLOGY OF THE LOCOMOTOR SYSTEM)
Medicol is an organization that brings together more than 30 member physicians specializing in musculoskeletal disorders, with the aim of promoting the training of health professionals, networking their skills and thus improving the medical care of patients.
The Bois-Cerf Clinic, specializing in orthopedics, is part of the Hirslanden group of private clinics, which also represents the largest medical network in Switzerland.
The Ouchy Orthopedic Center, created as part of the partnership between Medicol and the Bois-Cerf Clinic, is recognized by the ISFM for FMH training in orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal traumatology (category-C) and for training in SEMS sports medicine.
We are advertising a position for
DOCTOR IN SPORTS MEDICINE TRAINING SEMS
(Possibility of combining with training in internal medicine)

supervised by Medicol's referring physicians.
TERMS
- Hold a federal medical diploma or a foreign diploma recognized by MEBEKO.
- Have completed at least 3 years of postgraduate training in general internal medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation or in orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system.
- Have a good command of French (certified level) and knowledge of English.
- Swiss nationality, EU/EFTA or valid Swiss residence permit.
Activities
- Consultations
- Occasional surgical assistance
- Participation in clinical and scientific studies.
- Contribution to the facilitation of medical conferences and meetings.
SKILLS
- Open and dynamic personality, able to integrate into a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
- Good anatomical/surgical knowledge a plus.
- Good command of IT tools and ease in the administrative management of patients.
- Sense of responsibility.

- 6 months of recognized training for sports medicine, SEMS certified.
- An independent sports medicine consultation supervised by SEMS referring physicians.
- The holistic care of patients, particularly through comprehensive mobility assessments
- The opportunity to observe orthopedic surgical procedures and receive training from experienced surgical instructors.
- An open continuing education policy and possible speaking engagements at congresses and symposia
- The opportunity to conduct research as a co-investigator in the national SwissNeuroRehab project and in a study on FHL (Functional Hallux Limitus).

Entry date: to be agreed
Duration: 12 months (6 months possible in the context of sports medicine).
